Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Cassandra Gaunt, a member of Homeopathy International (HINT) based in the United Kingdom. The Practitioner offers both in-person and online consultations via platforms such as Zoom. By booking or using any services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

1.1 The Practitioner provides homeopathic consultations and remedies, both in-person and online, to support your well-being.

1.2 Consultations are available for clients residing in the UK and internationally, subject to local regulations regarding complementary medicine.

1.3 Online consultations are carried out through platforms such as Zoom or other similar video conferencing applications. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they have a stable internet connection.

2. Medical Disclaimer

The Practitioner is not a licensed medical doctor and does not provide medical diagnoses or emergency treatment.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Appointments can be booked via website. All clients are encouraged to use the booking system provided for efficient scheduling.

3.2 Payments must be made no less than 48 hours prior to your appointment via the links provided on booking. New patient appointments are required to pay on booking using our ‘Stripe’ system. Payments can be made via the booking system or via a Starling Bank link.

3.2a Prescriptions are not included in the consultation fee and payment will be required before it is posted either direct to the pharmacy (under their terms) or direct to Cassandra Gaunt via an online payment link.

3.3 Cancellation Policy: Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance. If an appointment is cancelled within less than 48 hours or if the client fails to attend, 100% of the consultation fee may be charged.

4. International Clients

4.1 The Practitioner accepts international clients but may be limited by specific country regulations regarding the use of homeopathy. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that homeopathic treatment is legally permitted in their jurisdiction.

4.2 Remedies may be posted when necessary. Any customs or import restrictions are the client’s responsibility, and the Practitioner is not liable for delays or issues caused by customs in the client’s country.

5. Confidentiality

5.1 All information shared during consultations is strictly confidential. The Practitioner adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding data protection and privacy.

5.2 Consultations via Zoom or similar platforms are conducted in a private setting; however, the Practitioner cannot guarantee the security of third-party video conferencing software. Clients are encouraged to use secure devices and internet connections.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 To the extent permitted by law, the Practitioner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of homeopathic remedies or services.

6.2 Clients understand that the effectiveness of homeopathy varies and results cannot be guaranteed. The Practitioner does not claim to cure any condition or illness.

7. Client Responsibilities

7.1 Clients must provide accurate medical and personal information during consultations to allow for the appropriate selection of remedies.

7.2 Clients must adhere to instructions provided by the Practitioner regarding remedy usage.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

8.1 This Agreement and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with it (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

8.2 Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom, and both parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

9. Amendments to Terms

9.1 The Practitioner reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Clients will be informed of any changes via email or during a consultation.

By proceeding with your consultation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

NOTE

Consent

Before proceeding with any consultations, clients are required to provide explicit acknowledgement that they have read and understand these Terms and agree to the provision of services as outlined.

Privacy Policy

  • Confidentiality will be respected at all times.
  • Client records will be kept securely in a password protected file on a password protected computer.
  • Only your therapist will have access to your records
  • Personal information contained in a clients files will not be shared with a third party without the written permission of the client, except if the therapist has reason to believe the client is in danger of harming themselves or others in which case the relevant authorities will be contacted.
  • E-mail - If the clients e-mail address is used this will be secured on a password protected e-mail account and a password protect file on a password protected computer. This will not be passed on to a third party without the expressed permission of the client.
  • Data collection - Data is held in the form of nameless coded written notes and transferred to a secure password protected computer file.
