“Life doesn't end with menopause; it's the beginning of a new adventure. Strap in and enjoy the ride!” - Helen Mirren

Menopause

Why I chose menopause as a speciality?

Because I’m there! Who better to help other women going through the peri/menopause than someone who has a clear understanding of what you are going through! I frequently hear that menopause is a journey, personally I’d call it a rollercoaster! The twists and turns of the rollercoaster ride brings extremes of emotions and physical symptoms, some of which you’ve never experienced before. Some twists can be fun, some parts are scary and others are extremely overwhelming. I believe this rollercoaster doesn’t have to be miserable, it cannot be stopped but it can be manageable and comfortable as long as we have the support and understanding of how to help ourselves and this is where I come in.

I can help make this transition a happier and more manageable journey with the help of Homeopathy, a sympathetic ear and self-care advice.

Can I use Homeopathy if I am on HRT?

Yes, absolutely! Homeopathy does not interfere with the use of HRT.

How I work with peri-menopausal/menopausal women

Step one - Assuring you that you are normal and that you are not going mad!

Step two - A listening ear! Your peri-menopause/menopause is individual to you. What symptoms you have today may also change weekly, monthly and each year you are in peri-menopause, but this is ok, you are not alone and yes you can feel better. Nothing can stop the menopause coming, but there is a lot that can be done to make the transition a lot easier.

Step three - together we will work out a plan. We will do this by assessing your symptoms and the reasons why you are struggling and I will choose your Homeopathic remedies accordingly.

Why I love Homeopathy for Menopause.

Homeopathy is not a ‘blanket’ approach, it works for the individual, your uniqueness, your personal menopausal symptoms and your prescription will reflect this.

What I take into account when choosing your remedies.

  • Your personal hormonal journey, from your first period until now.
  • Emotional stress or trauma
  • Contraceptives, IVF, HRT
  • Reproductive surgery
  • Bowel health
  • Mothers Hormonal journey if known
  • Fertility/childbirth
  • Your day to day life
  • and lots more.....
